Who's this dude?

Maarten Rolefes is an amateur Astrophotographer. He captures faint galaxies and nebula during the night. Most of it is captured from his light polluted backyard (Bortle class 5) which gives enough challenges on its own in post-processing.

 

His setup consists of an Altair Astro Ritchey Chretien 10" Astrograph on a Skywatcher NEQ6 Pro mount. The camera is an Atik 383L+ CCD mono in combination with Astrodon LRGB filters. Guiding is done off-axis using a Lodestar.
